Most visitors to Fiji arrive at the international airport, Nadi, which is on Fiji’s main island.
In Denarau, just 20 minutes’ drive from Nadi, there are eight four and five-star hotels, including the Radisson, Sheraton Villas, the Hilton, Westin and Sofitel. There is also an 18-hole championship golf course, a Water Fun Park and water sports at Adrenalin Fiji.
If you’re after a minimum of transfer time and a luxury experience, then look no further. You may also want to stay here for a night or two before heading to Port Denarau for a transfer to another island resort.
This is an 80km stretch of palm-fringed coastline that runs from Nadi to Suva, the nation’s capital and features many of Fiji’s best-loved resorts, most of which are a 1-2 hour drive from the airport.
This is where you’ll find some of Fiji’s most beautiful resorts. Closest to the main island are the Manamucas.
